Behind the Brand

Origin

6ixthSense blends culture, spirituality, and individuality into a modern clothing brand inspired by the unexplainable force of intuition, the sixth sense. Rooted in the cultural and spiritual essence of Friday, often seen as the sixth day in Islamic tradition, the brand celebrates moments of reflection, forgiveness, blessings, and unity. Each piece honors timeless traditions while embracing a contemporary style, creating a meaningful connection between you and something greater.

Drive

The brand 6ixthSense was created to address the lack of modern clothing inspired by Arab and Middle Eastern culture that can be worn by anyone. The brand bridges the gap between traditional elements and contemporary fashion, offering versatile designs that reflect cultural pride, spirituality, and individuality. Each of the pieces are carefully crafted with a focus on high quality and self-expression, celebrating heritage while creating a deeper connection.

Roots

The name 6ixthSense ties directly to the spiritual and cultural significance of Friday, often seen as the sixth day of the week in Islamic tradition, and also the founder’s last name, Jomaa, which means Friday. It symbolizes reflection, blessings, and unity while embodying a deeper connection and intuition that transcend beyond the five basic senses. Through the designs, the brand creates a space where tradition meets modernity and meaning meets

style.

Founder

My name is Hussein Jomaa, and I’m a 19 year-old Lebanese American from Michigan. I’m a sophomore studying Public Health on the Pre-Med track with aspirations of becoming an anesthesiologist. I’m the founder of my University’s first pre-medical fraternity, Phi Delta Epsilon, and I also work as a Medical Assistant. I’m currently conducting research on global healthcare topics, including the relationship between pregnant women and RSV vaccines. Outside of academics, I enjoy designing, spending time with my family, volunteering, and curating outfits. Going into this, I wanted to create something that not only represents my identity but also inspires others to embrace theirs.
